Stamp and signature are not the same as registration.

Patra can calculate duty, place a sandbox or live stamp block, and collect signatures. It does not file the document at the sub-registrar.

• A residential or commercial lease longer than 11 months generally has to be registered.
• A power of attorney used to sell or mortgage property has to be registered.
• A gift of land or a flat is a registered deed. Patra’s gift document is only for movable property.
• A sale of a house is not offered here. A private vehicle sale still needs the RTO transfer.
